Jimmy will be heading one of our newest classes called "Build a beAR™." This class, which is sure to sell out, will feature the extensive and in-depth knowledge packed inside Jimmy's brain about the AR-15. He will guide you step-by-step as you purchase your parts and build your AR-15 to fit your budget, needs, and desires.
My wife Maria went to a birthday thing at your Bellville place a few weeks ago. When she came home, she told me all about the great time they had. I looked at your website and signed up for your First Step pistol class, this is where I met you last week. After telling my wife about the class, we thought we should send you this email commending you on the professionalism of your instructor James Grammenos (Jimmy) . He makes the class an interesting fun 4 hours where I expected to be bored with the classroom part. My wife's experience with Jimmy was much the same although she was at a birthday thing. It also should be said that the girls expected to have to deal with "sexist comments" etc., but, thankfully, there was none of it. Jimmy was a complete gentleman and so much so that the girls offered him a nice "tip" which he declined! signed; Mr. And Mrs. Patrick Kelly.
I took the Pistol Step One Class with Jimmy. This class is the most fun in 4 hours anyone can get plus it’s very educational! I also went to the Test Drive this fall and had a blast–pun intended. The test drive gave me hands on with both 12 & 20 gauge shotguns, so I knew which was best for me. I then went out and bought a 20 gauge. The Test Drive also gave me hands on with some weapons I could only dream of having an opportunity to fire with an experienced instructor right there at my side. All the instructors were terrific at the Test Drive. Again a lot of fun in a highly safe environment. I recommend these classes and events to everyone I meet, especially anyone with no gun experience or those who want to try shooting but do not yet have a NJ Firearms ID Card or Permits to purchase. The guys and gals at Gun For Hire also offer invaluable advice on the application process or other gun ownership issues. Gun For Hire classes and instruction is the best money I have spent, and gave me the basic knowledge base to wisely purchase the right guns for my abilities.– Elizabeth A.
Jimmy,
I recently attended the First Steps Pistol class that you taught on December 1st, in Cedar Grove. I have to tell you I entered the class very interested about firearms but without having any experiance, as you called it 'super-green'. I left the class even more interested, more knowledgeable, and much more confident about firearms.
The 1 on 1 instruction that was received on the range was invaluable.
I cannot wait to shoot again, I am 'all-in' I sent in my Florida paperwork, and I completed the paperwork for my NJ FID card. I look forward to purchasing my first handgun (with your assistance) as well as taking more training at GFH.
Thanks For Your Help,
Anthony Mustacciuolo Fanwood, NJ Hey Jimmy,
Thanks alot for hanging around while I made my way through the weather to the lesson last Tuesday. And thank you especially for tailoring the instruction to my needs and my beginner level of knowledge. What I needed was the hard information and confidence with the rifle to begin safely enjoying it, and you gave me that. It's not always that an older dog learns new tricks so efficiently and safely and enjoyably, so again, thanks. I'll bring my son up for another session when he's back in town.
All best,

We just wanted to say how much we both enjoyed and appreciated the thorough and entertaining firearms safety course. Abby, who is as green as they come, came away with a newfound confidence in her firearm use (especially because, as expected, she completely crushed me on the firing range). I would like to particularly thank Jimmy for his professional attitude when Abby got a little overwhelmed at the range (her first time) and Jimmy was very patient and understanding in taking her outside for fresh air until ready to return. Although I had some background in firearms, I found the course very informative and helpful. Thank you again - we look forward to taking further training with you all.---

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a great time I had in the “Build an AR” class. I can’t tell you how proud and amazed I am that I actually built my own firearm. It was a truly rewarding experience. I would recommend this class to anyone that likes a challenge. I had zero experience in building firearms and quite frankly, fairly limited experience with firearms at all. I attribute most of the success to a well organized class run by Jimmy who went out of his way to make himself accessible. Jimmy was extremely helpful and made sure that we did the actual building, but was there every step of the way to provide guidance and make sure we were executing properly. I think that was the perfect way to run the class. You guys are doing a great job over there and I wish you much success. Keep up the good work! ---

I wanted to let you know that i just finished the AR15 build with jimmy. this was a great experience. i had not owned one and i thought this would be a great way to learn a little about them, and end up having one. this has far exceeded my expectations. The class got me engaged in the process and i began to learn about the gun and its many variations. far more than i would have gotten out of going to a store and buying one. as a matter of fact, a couple of my friends are now asking me about the AR platform. go figure. But what made this all happen was jimmy. of course, he is an expert. but more than that, he has patience,(and you need a lot of that when dealing with me and the two friends i brought), and a wonderful sense of humor. he happens to be an excellent teacher because he lets you feel comfortable about the process. in my opinion, he is a natural. my group was totally ignorant about the gun, and he made us feel like any question was a good question. what else could you ask of a teacher. Just thought i would let you know, and thank you for the experience.

Douglas T. B. Hi Anthony,
Thank you!
I cannot send this e-mail without letting you know how happy we were with your employees and organization. My wife and I were not expecting such a professional and helpful organization. Your employee Jimmy is nothing short of outstanding. He made us feel so comfortable during our training that it was more like friends hanging out talking as opposed to a training session. I have seen good employees and once every so often I come across a phenomenal one. Jimmy is that one. He was so knowledgeable, patient, clear, informative and a pleasure to be around. In short, 'He knows his shit".
We will be definately recommend your organization as well as train with Jimmy again.
Thanks!!!!!
