My girlfriend and I wanted to learn how to shoot pistols and we found "gun for hire" on google the establishment was well kept and the staff practice courtesy, professionalism, and were very respectful! J-kawn assisted us and was very informative and laid down a great foundation for us. We had a blast learning our first time. We will definitely return and bring others along next time.

More options than most places. I am experienced shooter but my daughter is not and the staff made her feel really comfortable. Affordable prices, not too much of a crowd

First time there and I felt really safe with the instructors being there because of the knowledge they had about every gun... loved itttt !!! Very organized would definitely go again.

This is my first time at a gun range on the east coast I also haven't shot a gun in a few years. My dad and I came on a Sunday rainy day last Sunday in October. Youre immediately greeted when you enter and asked to fill out a form sadly I don't even remsmber what was on if but following that we watched an video along with other people basically about the safety and rules in the gun range. Next we went on to pick out the guns we wanted to shoot with. For a first time visit it was about $200 maybe $220 with the rental of guns, targets, the glasses and ear Protectants. We had an amazing instructor by the name of Ginger who was extremely helpful and made us very comfortable. My Dad was so comfortable that after a while we were able to shoot on our own. I would definitely come back again. I felt extremely safe and really enjoyed myself. I also loved shooting with a Ruger 380 and with recommendation was open to trying out bigger guns with more power and now I'm in love. Thank you for a great experience.

I had been there once before and had such a great time that I told my friends about it. We set up a date to go and they had as much if not more fun! We rented a .357 magnum and a tavor and loved both. Or instructor, Andrew, was great too, he was very educated on gun safety and knew exactly how to teach my newcomer friends. I’d very much recommend people give this place a try, if not for the fun then for the experience.

Very pleased with range and range marshals. Expert help and loads of acknowledgement. Pleased and proud to have John M and his colleagues at our side. Me and my grandson (9 years old) were all smiles after a very enjoyable experience sighting in a .22 scoped pump action at 25 yards and making really tight groupings with our Winchester 94 using our own 150 grain reloads.

We had a great day. Neither of us had ever handled a gun. The entire staff was safety conscious and focused on teaching us all the proper techniques. Recommended a Glock 19 to start. Andrew set us up and showed us how to properly handle a gun, load it, aim, stance, etc... we had so much fun and felt so safe and secure. Top notch professionals!

This place was awesome!! Had a great time. We all felt very comfortable. John our instructor was awesome!! We came from Long Island and it was so worth the drive. My husband and I can’t wait to go back. We took our boys who are 15 and 17 who were a little apprehensive just bc they were with us. After the first 5 minutes, nothing but smiles.. We will definitely be back!!

I have been going to Gun for hire since 2013, the range staff are great and make you feel welcome. The whole facility is spotless. Anthony is a down to earth guy, I have sat down talked to him on a personal level. It’s good to know that there are people like him in the fight to protect our rights. I also recommend to listen to gun for hire radio.

I went to the range today for date night and the experience was great from start to finish. I have wanted to come to this range for quite some time and was finally able to do so. The staff is super friendly! As soon as we came in we were instantly attended and asked to fill out some paperwork so they could hand us our little cards. Once we finished with that we went to go get our gun rentals and ammo. The woman that attended us was very knowledgeable about guns and recommended that we try the 9mm pistol which we both did. We asked for an instructor since it was the first time we were both there and Tim was extremely helpful! He was very nice and patient when teaching us how to properly handle, load and unload the gun. We got one pack of 50 bullets and were able to go about 4-5 rounds or so each since we were at the same port together. If you've never shot a gun before the nerves will definitely kick in for the practice bullet and probably the first round but after that you get used to the little kick that the gun has. I would definitely recommend this place. My partner also loved this place and said he had such a better experience at Gun for Hire considering he went to a range in the Poconos and hated it there. I definitely want to come back here to work on my target skills.

I have been a member of this excellent range for four years and cannot profess what an excellent facility and staff that is created here. It  always extends a warm welcome to all, and as safety is placed first, the well trained staff are there to assist with the smallest details to ensure a safe and fun experience every visit. As a gold member, I was  invited to the Gold member event for a trap shooting and food fest, and this was yet another outstanding and well organized event. I cannot laud the team that Anthony and Jimmy have created here, and I am proud to be a part of their family, they really mean that!  I would heartily recommend a visit to anyone wanting to try shooting for the first time, without any fear of judgement or intimidation. Great for a family trip too! Well done lads and keep up the good work, andy
