Anthony, Thanks for a great experience for my son and I. We attended you "First steps pistol" course with Sandy yesterday and it was great! My son has had an interest in competitive shooting for several years and finally got the opportunity to learn from the pros at your facility. Everyone we came in contact with was very supportive and my son and I learned alot. We are looking forward to visiting often. Thanks again to everyone there for a GREAT experience!!

Testimonials:

I wore my "Gun For Hire" shirt out today to lunch with my fiance. As we are entering the restaurant, a little old lady in her Sunday finest is on her way out but stops me and asks, "You take the Gun For Hire classes?" I said, "Yes ma'am." She proceeded to tell me how she has taken First Steps Pistol and can't wait to take many more because she just loves the people teaching it. Funniest thing that has happened to me in a long time. I think I need to wear this shirt more often.
Hi Anthony, Charlie & Jimmy Last night I attended the First Steps class with Jimmy. Even though this class is geared for beginning shooters and I have been a gun owner since 1983, the class was very informative and I learned a lot. Jimmy has a great teaching style that made learning a serious topic fun and easy to understand. He engages the class well and keeps everyone involved. During the live fire session Paul worked with me and helped me overcome some bad habits I've developed over the years and he also has a nice approach to teaching firearms safety and handling. I also observed both Paul and Jimmy taking first-time shooters from nervous first trigger pulls to consistent groupings. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Last week I also took the UT & FL non-resident CCW courses with Charlie at Cherry Ridge. He also has a great presentation style and managed to get a room full of applicants trained and processed promptly. Your Woodland Park facility is also first class. It's clean and welcoming. Most indoor ranges I've been to are dark and not user-friendly. GFH stands head and shoulders above the competition. Thanks again for offering this opportunity to the public to increase firearms safety and skills. I look forward to another class soon. Kevin Kuhner
Hello Rob,
I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you again for your personal attention in helping me with my first firearm purchase last night at the Bullet Hole. From my first introduction to firearms with you last month during First Steps Pistol, to Charlie's assistance last night in filing for my Florida CCW, and the great folks at the Bullet Hole(Jen & Joe), you've made the entire process seamless. In addition, I would personally like to say that you helped make for me what was sometimes a nervous, uninformed and clumsy feeling towards firearms and shooting, very fun, relaxed, knowledgeable and professional! For fun, protection, competition, or to increase my proficiency, I look forward to many future classes at Gun For Hire, and outstanding education at Gun For Hire Radio!!
Now that I have gone through the process from start to finish (permit to purchase), I have a better understanding and appreciation of the "bureaucracy" we gun owners experience...especially here in New Jersey. With that being said, NRA and NJ2AS here I come. In closing, as a proud and excited new gun owner I now feel honored to be part of the family and close out my correspondence with....

Hi Anthony,
Thanks for your email. Yes - I enjoyed the class yesterday; it was very informative and a good introduction to shooting safely. I now feel confident enough to go to the range and practice independently. However, I know that this is only an introduction and want to come back for further classes. I just wish you were closer than the 2 hour drive! But it was well worth it and will be seeing you again in 4-6 weeks hopefully.
Many thanks,
Peter

Anthony,
Anthony and staff,
I truly enjoyed and was extremely impressed with the extensive wealth of knowledge and your dead on approach to teaching firearms, First Steps to me. You covered an enormous amount of information in a short period of time and your teaching techniques and interaction with the students was remarkable, honest, and sincere. Absolutely can not say enough about the no B.S. way you people do your instruction and run the whole Gun For Hire Teaching / Training facility . Totally professional, yet very friendly, and by far the best firearms instruction I have ever seen. I am looking forward to continuing my training in other classes you offer in the near future.
Thanks again

Hi Anthony,
Just want to say thanks and tell you how impressed I was with your entire operation last night. I have sat through many classes with the fire dept and none of them were ever taught as well as yours. I will be in touch with you soon to enquire about getting additional carry permits for other states that I may be eligible for. My side line of work takes me to many places where I should be carrying. If you get the opportunity I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to acquire the information that tells me other states that I can get additional non resident carry permits. Thanks again,
KEVIN PRESUTTI

Anthony,
This is linda baker. I had such a good time at your class. everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was a little leery about shooting my gun because everyone asked why I had it! but I had such a blast with it . I love my gun. I emailed paul devane about taking your class. I hope I can get into his club. I know it is not opened to the public and you have to be voted in. wish me luck! thanks for everything linda

Dear Anthony, I found the First Steps course to be a very lively and spirited one.It is refreshing to be among a group of people who cherish the right to own firearms. Our instructor, Robert Howe, knows guns like the back of his hand and was quite helpful. It was a pleasure meeting you, Anthony, and I'm glad you made that cameo appearance in the classroom. Hopefully, one day the State of New Jersey will come to its senses and adopt rational firearms legislation. And when it does, we can all thank the outspoken proponents of Second Amendment rights like yourself. My Florida CCW application went out in the mail yesterday. I look forward to my next course at Guns For Hire. Regards,
John Morlino
