SORA First Time

Course Description: Register with the State Police. The State Police charge $75 for registration. Once you register, you will get a temporary certificate that is valid for 30 days. Within those 30 days, you have to take a 2-day class and have your fingerprints done. Our 2-day class is $100 and the state of NJ will charge you $67.50 for your fingerprints. Once you complete all 3 steps within the 30 days, you receive your SORA card in the mail directly from the State Police within 5 to 10 business days.

We can do the registration and the fingerprint application for you, provided you take our class at Gun for Hire. You will need to provide 2 forms of ID, including one photo.
