Anthony,

Wanted to thank you again and reiterate what I great experience I had with First Steps Shotgun. Rob was a fantastic instructor; he was adorable (in a totally platonic, big-brother kind of way) and respectful. The class was informative and the range time was awesome. My prior shooting experience consisted of several pick-up trucks, several more shotguns, and a large group of frat boys. While they taught me the fundamentals, no one discovered my cross eye dominance problem. Thanks to you and Rob, I'm now a fairly accurate shot and much more comfortable handling a shotgun.

Also, the driving directions were flawless. The gentleman wearing a bandanna (whose name I don't know) not only walked me to my car, but also led me to the parkway.

Please keep me posted on any upcoming events that you're hosting, as I'd love to get some more practice time in! And, when I'm ready to purchase a firearm, I plan on consulting with you guys first.

Thanks again. And I'm sorry I insulted your phone system.

Hi Anthony,

Just want to say thanks and tell you how impressed I was with your entire operation last night. I have sat through many classes with the fire dept and none of them were ever taught as well as yours. I will be in touch with you soon to enquire about getting additional carry permits for other states that I may be eligible for. My side line of work takes me to many places where I should be carrying. If you get the opportunity I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to acquire the information that tells me other states that I can get additional non resident carry permits.

Thanks again, KEVIN PRESUTTI

Anthony… Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed working with you yesterday.

I’ve spent the past ten years meeting, researching, studying and working with entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, leaders, scientists and artists from, so far, 478 different and diverse fields. Most of the people I’ve had the pleasure to work with are, hands down, the best in their fields (the rest are well on their way to becoming such).

As an author, producer, and now (albeit reluctant) expert on innovation and creative thinking, my business is a lot like mining for gold— in that, in order to find a single ounce of gold you’ve got to dig and sort through tons and tons of dirt.

Fortunately, I discovered a secret that has made this monumental job tolerable: when you go into the mine each day, you can’t go in focusing on all that dirt; you’ve gotta go in the hole looking for the gold.

Businesses in every field—from medicine to mining— all have this one thing in common: there’s no shortage of shitheads.

Consequently, it always delights me to discover the men and women who, like a unique golden nugget, shine brightly through the mounds and mounds of common dirt.  You, my friend, are such a man.

Your professionalism is flawless, your enthusiasm contagious and your love for what you do and who you do it for is obvious. It is truly a pleasure and an honor to know you and to have the opportunity work with you.

See ya Saturday,

Sandy

Anthony,

I was profoundly sadden to get your email over the censorship of your logo because of "wording content".  It is such a shame that folks are missing the point once again.  Gun for Hire is an asset to the proper education and use of firearms, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING  DENOTING DANGEROUS ACTIVITY in any area of Gun for Hire.  The logo is just a bit of marketing genesis that I wish I had thought up:)

I do hope that the citizens of our beloved Country, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, come to know that the training available with your company HELPS, and never harms.

I am very proud of the job you guys and gals are doing there.  You have given me an opportunity to get the training for "armed security" jobs and well as "unarmed".  I am also with the US Coast Guard Aux., though an unarmed branch of the military support group.  I AM  glad to have the knowledge of how to take down a person who is intent on the harm of the innocent.  I am proud of ALL the active duty and veterans, of all branches of the military service that are daily putting their very lives on the line to have us able to have  this conversation in the peace of home (USA).

If I can offer this letter to anyone, please let me know.

I stand with you, 100 percent.

Stay strong,

  1. -Joyce Further

Anthony, this is linda baker. I had such a good time at your class. everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was a little leery about shooting my gun because everyone asked why I had it! but I had such a blast with it . I love my gun. I emailed paul devane about taking your class. I hope I can get into his club. I know it is not opened to the public and you have to be voted in. wish me luck! thanks for everything linda

Hi, Anthony.

First of all, I wanted to thank you for doing such a great job over the past two weeks for the Instructor Courses.  I really learned a lot, and cannot wait to apply everything I've learned when I start to teach on my own.

Anthony,

Heide and I would like to thank you for the instruction on Saturday. Not only was the “First Steps – Pistol” class extremely informative but it was entertaining as well. You have a way about you that makes us amateurs feel comfortable in the presence of an expert and that is truly exceptional. I must also extend the gratitude to your support staff as each one was knowledgeable and yet a pleasure to learn from. At all times you and your staff were reassuring and supportive. You are excellent ambassador’s for the shooting sports and the NRA. We will definitely be seeing you at future classes.  Heide is looking to get some friends/family to attend your “refuse to be a victim” seminar in May and has also expressed interest in private lessons while she is off for the summer.

Anthony,

The First Steps Pistol class was great yesterday.  You definitely have a knack with delivering the material effectively and connecting with the group.  It would be really convenient if we could book classes online.  Also, you should take a few pictures of a class in session for the website to give folks an idea of what the facility looks like, and what they can expect in the classroom.  Maybe get a few pics at the range as well.  New folks may be less intimidated if they saw the actual classroom.  Try to get a picture that shows some women in the classroom.  Also, consider adding a customer feedback section to the site so prospective customers can read actual remarks about how good the training is.
