The instructor was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place. Also, great reviews for this place, the one reviews and complaints I hear about This place is from, know it alls that think they don't need an instructor yet they get one and get offended when they do their job.

I was a little nervous about making my first purchase so I brought a friend. But it wasn’t like buying a car AT ALL!! I got very lucky and Gene had the opportunity to help a totally clueless first time gun purchaser. 😂 Gene made the entire process so easy and entertaining at the same time. I didn’t really know how to shop for this and he walked me through every detail. I feel like I have a better understanding of pistols in general and I am really excited with what I selected. His method of allowing you to truly pick what fits your needs is really cool. They say that nobody buys just one. If that is true, I will definitely come back and look for Gene, but all of the guys behind the counter are super nice and helpful. I didn’t feel out of place - and everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to pick up!! FYI - Gene happened to be one of my NRA Basic Pistol Instructors. To be able to work with experts such as Gene, is amazing and that’s why I love this place.

He helped me pick which gun to rent and I felt comfortable shooting. I will definitely be going there again

I was a member at another range in the area (not going to name any names here), but I must say after Gun for Hires new renovations I quickly became a member! The facilities are top notch, staff is kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Always glad to support those who support the 2A community which, Anthony, the owner, is a pig proponent of in our state. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone visiting for the day or becoming a member!

I had an outstanding experience at the shooting range during my first visit. The instructor, Raf, played a crucial role in making me feel comfortable and guiding me through the process. His expertise and patience were commendable. The facility was well-maintained, and safety measures were top-notch. Overall, a fantastic introduction to shooting, thanks to Raf and the welcoming atmosphere. Five stars well-deserved!

It was my first time going to a shooting range and my girlfriend decided to do it for her birthday. We went on 01/14/24 and the place was crowded, however, everyone was very helpful and nice. Marthin helped us with the rental and he is “The Guy”, he made all the process of registration and picking the guns sooo smoothly and easy. On the other hand, hands down to our instructors: Paul P., Eli and Marthin (yes, he also was our instructor); you guys rocked 😃 our experience wouldn’t be that great if we didn’t have you guys working with us…so, Thank you!!! If you want to go to a shooting range, this is “The One”. We had an awesome experience and definitely will come back!!!

I came here for my birthday yesterday with my cousin and had an amazing time. Every one of the staff members are great! They are all patient and friendly. Our instructor, Ivan, gave me some tips to improve my aim because it was a bit off while making sure I felt calm and safe. Turns out I am not a bad shooter! I would definitely recommend and come back here. So much fun!!!

What an experience!!! My husband has always wanted us to learn shooting and we finally went to Gun for Hire recently. The activity is expensive for beginners because it includes renting the pistol/rifle, bullets, headphones, safety glasses, target, the range as well as a 15 minute training but it is totally worth it! We were first asked to sign waivers and then we got to pick the guns - a pistol and an air rifle. Once we went to the range, we were trained by a very nice man who was very patient and gave us great tips on how to shoot safely and on target. I did have some initial fear but the training really helped me to overcome it. We got to use the range for one hour and had the best time. I highly recommend this activity and we will be back sometime in the future. Parking is available right outside but gets full very fast!

I had a problem with my firearm ID card. Which I haven’t used in years. After seeking help from three different police departments, to no avail. Scott was able to see what the problem was in a matter of minutes. He showed me on his lap top exactly what I needed to do. I will request Scott on all my return trips to the Gun For Hire gun shop.

The ladies at the front are so lovely and helpful. I walked in today first time and they made it so easy and smooth.

ALEN is AMAZING!!!! 1st time here, 1st time handling a gun and the experience couldn’t have been any better. The whole facility and all the staff are top notch. Everyone is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Alen in particular who gave us an introductory beginner’s lesson was so comforting and patient with us being that it was the first time we were handling a gun. His guidance, knowledge and understanding exceeded our expectations and made the whole experience exceptional. All the staff we encountered were great and very knowledgeable and so willing to help with everything! Looking forward to going back soon , would like to sign up for another class with Alen and definitely sign yourselves up for a membership because it pays itself off in the end.
