Levels: Hemorrhage Control

This course is designed to show you how to save a life when seconds count and the bleeding will not stop. Hemorrhage control will teach you how to identify life threatening wounds, how to control major bleeding, and how to identify shock. Also covered in the course will be the use of QuikClot. QuikClot® brand hemostatic agent, manufactured in the USA, saves lives by rapidly stopping bleeding. It is composed of an inert mineral substance that meets a variety of medical needs and applications. This course includes study of Blood Borne Pathogens and will provide the student with a certificate that is valid for one year.
