Gun For Hire’s Spartan Race “NO SHAME”

Gun For Hire is sponsoring their first SPARTAN RACE Titled “No Shame”! Anthony and the rest of the Gun For Hire crew will all be entering the Spartan Race. This is a walk or run obstacle course that you can do with the support of the Gun For Hire family. No Man or Woman is left behind. Now is your chance to get this off your bucket list in the most awesome way. Imagine hundreds of Gun For Hire shirts all starting the race at the same time. There will not be one step that does not have jokes, laughter and team work. Plus at the end of the race you get to enjoy delicious grub from the Gun For Hire food truck.

Like to challenge yourself? Enjoy a little mud and sweat in your eyes?
Then you’ll love the Spartan Race. This race is held in New Jersey and is approximately 8-10 miles long. You can run or walk it. Plus the race date is September 13th. You have plenty of time to get a few training workouts in.

Here is the requirements to run the Spartan Race
– Minimum Age is 14
– To enter the cost is approximately $100

Here is the requirements to run with the Gun For Hire Team
– Pro 2A Attitude
– No cost to be part of Gun For Hire’s Team!!

So just to be clear you do not need to be a Member of Gun For Hire’s Woodland Park Range. There is no additional fees to run with the Gun For Hire team. The food and jerseys are free to all who join the Gun For Hire “No Shame” Team.

So what do I get running with the Gun For Hire Team?
– Besides running and being part of a bad ass crew you will be given an awesome team branded dry fit jersey. This jersey is your ticket to the Delicious Gun For Hire Team food and drinks truck that you can walk up to and get some kick ass grub from.

– For every person that joins the team, Gun For Hire will donate $10 to SAW, Second Amendment Women Shooting Club!

Terrain: From steep inclines to rocky, single/wide track descents, Mountain Creek is a ski mountain with steep terrain and we plan to use it to it’s maximum potential! That means a great deal of elevation change from start to finish.

Special gear needed: Racers should plan to bring a headlamp and appropriate fuel for their needs. No fuel will be provided on course, only water. Hydration packs (or water containers of some variety) are strongly suggested for all racers.

Bring your friends and family to the race to watch you conquer obstacles, dominate the finish line and receive your medal!

Racers, your fans will motivate you over the wall and past the finish line. You wouldn’t believe how far a cheering section will go when you’re exhausted. Your fans will also enjoy music, raffles, entertainment, and festival challenges.

Most importantly, fans will receive a front row seat to watch racers from a safe, comfortable, and relatively mud-less (no promises) Spartan Race festival ground area! And, when it’s over, they receive muddy hugs from thrilled Spartan athletes. After all, what’s a sport without fans?

Cost: $20 Online until Friday prior to the Event. $25 on site (Cash Only).

As a Spartan Race spectator, you’ll get: $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, a festival map, access to view multiple key obstacles on the course, finish line viewing, the vendor tents, and hot food for sale on the grounds!
