Member Name: Tom DE Cicco Company: Riverview East Phone: 201-797-9258 Address: 455 River Dr, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 About us: “Turkey Club, Hot Roast Beef / Turkey Sandwich with gravy are some of my favorites here.” “Great place, great food; owners are nice, place is clean and recently remodeled.” “Dare I say even better than the gravy at Rutt's Hut.” Great place, great food; owners are nice, place is clean and recently remodeled. Texas weiners at their finest, with excellent fries. Not bad had the Rib eye steak . Good. service and food. Good portion very filling. This place was very clean . Will definitely come back. Definitely a place to stop at if your in the mood for a good double cheeseburger with chili sauce and also their fries with cheese and gravey is very appealing. And even though their milkshake is quite expensive but definitely worth the money. The fries were still crispy by the time we got the food home to Fair Lawn. The gravy is to die for. Probably the best we've found since we moved to North Jersey. Dare I say even better than the gravy at Rutt's Hut. The chocolate shake was made with ice cream, unlike some other places (Johnny & Hanges). It was super thick and very tasty.
A Brief History of the NRA Dismayed by the lack of marksmanship shown by their troops, Union veterans Col. William C. Church and Gen. George Wingate formed the National Rifle Association in 1871. The primary goal of the association would be to "promote and encourage rifle shooting on a scientific basis," according to a magazine editorial written by Church. After being granted a charter by the state of New York on November 17, 1871, the NRA was founded. Civil War Gen. Ambrose Burnside, who was also the former governor of Rhode Island and a U.S. senator, became the fledgling NRA's first president. An important facet of the NRA's creation was the development of a practice ground. In 1872, with financial help from New York State, a site on Long Island, the Creed Farm, was purchased for the purpose of building a rifle range. Named Creedmoor, the range opened a year later, and it was there that the first annual matches were held. Political opposition to the promotion of marksmanship in New York forced the NRA to find a new home for its range. In 1892, Creedmoor was deeded back to the state and NRA's matches moved to Sea Girt, New Jersey. The NRA's interest in promoting the shooting sports among America's youth began in 1903 when NRA Secretary Albert S. Jones urged the establishment of rifle clubs at all major colleges, universities and military academies. By 1906, NRA's youth program was in full swing with more than 200 boys competing in matches at Sea Girt that summer. Today, youth programs are still a cornerstone of the NRA, with more than one million youth participating in NRA shooting sports events and affiliated programs with groups such [...]

They, and their guest experts, answer questions and give advice. They talk about the news, current events, and legislation that are important to New Jersey Gun Owners. They’ll keep you abreast of fast-‐paced changing laws, pending legislation and anti-‐ gun wackiness that can impact your right to protect and safeguard the life and safety of you and your family. They expose the veiled propaganda and “under the radar” midnight attacks against your second amendment rights from Washington, Trenton, Hollywood, the mainstream media and the powerful Anti-‐Gun Industry. And they do it all from behind the “Second Amendment Iron. Website: www.gunforhireradio.com
Three primary goals drive the Wisconsin-based human-rights group Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO): Destroy so-called “gun control” (code words for disarming innocent people). Expose the misguided notions that lead people to seek out so-called “gun control”. Encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for all citizens. The Second Amendment is the “Guardian” of the Bill of Rights. Founded by Jews in 1989, JPFO initially aimed at educating the Jewish community about the historical evils that Jews have suffered when they have been disarmed. JPFO has always welcomed people of all religious beliefs who share a common goal of opposing and reversing victim-disarmament policies while advancing liberty for all. It was the brainchild of Aaron Zelman (1946 - 2010), a leading national civil-rights activist. JPFO is a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) educational civil-rights organization, not a lobby. JPFO’s products and programsreach out to as many segments of the American people as possible, using bold tactics without compromise on fundamental principles. Find out how you can donate to JPFO. JPFO has always welcomed people of all religious beliefs (or none) who share a common goal of opposing and reversing potentially deadly victim disarmament policies. You don’t have to be Jewish to join JPFO; you just have to love freedom. Aaron Zelman, a proud Jew, initially aimed at educating the Jewish community about the historical evils that Jews have suffered when they have been disarmed. He was appalled that so many Jewish politicians and influential Jewish public officials and spokespeople actually advocated citizen disarmament. He said it many a time: “Jews should be the last people on Earth to support ‘gun control’. See: An Interview With Aaron Zelman As JPFO expanded its research into gun laws [...]

The Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the lobbying arm of the NRA. Established in 1975, ILA is committed to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ILA’s ability to fight successfully for the rights of America’s law-abiding gun owners directly reflects the support of NRA’s nearly 5 million members—a number that has more than tripled since 1978. When restrictive “gun control” legislation is proposed at the local, state or federal level, NRA members and supporters are alerted and respond with individual letters, faxes, e-mails and calls to their elected representatives to make their views known. In 1986, the NRA and millions of gun owners nationwide applauded as the Firearms Owners’ Protection Act was signed into law by President Ronald Reagan. ILA worked for more than a decade to secure passage of that historic legislation to reform the Gun Control Act of 1968. Combined with the strong grassroots efforts of NRA members and NRA-affiliated state associations and local gun clubs, the Institute has worked vigorously to pass pro-gun reform legislation at the state level. These efforts include enacting laws that recognize the right of honest citizens to carry firearms for self-protection; preemption bills to prevent attacks on gun owner rights by local anti-gun politicians, and fighting for legislation to prevent the bankrupting of America’s firearms industry through reckless lawsuits. The Institute is also involved in educating the public about the facts concerning the many facets of firearms ownership in America. Through the distribution of millions of printed fact sheets, brochures and articles annually and the posting information and the latest news daily on its Internet site [...]
