Hi Anthony, I just wanted to tell you about my experience taking the Camp 50 class. I had so much fun! I was a little worried about how much Bill would beat us up with PT, but was relieved when I saw him put on his PT gear and didn’t have us do anything he didn’t do. All the instructors you chose for the class were very good. I love taking classes with Bill, John, and Mikey. Not only did I have fun, I learned some new things. I loved the camaraderie we formed with the other classmates and I think we will be talking about the class for years to come. I saw two others from the class today at the BBQ and we all talked about what a good time we had at camp 50. I can’t wait for the next time you offer the class. All in all I had a ton of fun and I tell everybody I see about the class and that they should take it! P.S. Thank you for the Challenge Coin! I think it was so cool that you gave one to us!

Who teaches this course?All of our high-level courses are taught by experienced professionals with the credentials to prove it. They are all trained and certified by the N.J. Police Training Commission, N.J. Department of Criminal Justice, and possess Federal Law Enforcement Instructor Certifications. They are experts in N.J. Use of Force Policies, and are always updating the course material with the latest use of force guidelines and case law. At GFH this is not a “hobby” but a full time, legitimate vocation. Any “instructor” can teach you anything, but only a select few can teach you the “why” or the “root of law” to justify your actions. If you were to use your newly acquired skills and you were required to justify your actions, at GFH all of our instructors are ready, willing, and able to testify in your defense as long as you had followed the training and procedures we provided. It does you and your loved ones no good if you survive the fight, and then spend the next thirty years in prison because of the wrong advice you were given by a part time amateur “instructor”.

Course Description:The Gun For Hire CAMP50 Course is a culmination of all the Gun For Hire urban courses. Students must have completed URBAN PISTOL, URBAN CARBINE, and FIT FOR THE FIGHT. This course is a 24 hour course, submerging into the Tactical Realm and removing you from your comfort zone. The CAMP50 course is designed to build character, team skills and a mindset that will NEVER say never again.

  • Carbine platform weapon with 3 magazines (we have have several for rent)

  • Belt mounted holster
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Knee pads
  • Sleeping bag or cot and overnight bag for personal items, towels and toiletries. Workout gear should be dark in color and suitable to wear outdoors. Students should also bring gloves and sweatshirt. Students will not be allowed to leave for the duration of the course
  • Students will report to the classroom for briefing and to set up gear / area
  • Please wear comfortable clothing. No open-toed shoes

Anthony, Thanks for a great experience for my son and I. We attended you “First steps pistol” course with Sandy yesterday and it was great! My son has had an interest in competitive shooting for several years and finally got the opportunity to learn from the pros at your facility. Hi Anthony, Thanks for your email. Yes – I enjoyed the class yesterday; it was very informative and a good introduction to shooting safely. I now feel confident enough to go to the range and practice independently. However, I know that this is only an introduction and want to come back for further classes. I just wish you were closer than the 2 hour drive! But it was well worth it and will be seeing you again in 4-6 weeks hopefully. Many thanks.
