Being a Gun For Hire Member means more than access to exclusive benefits. You're part of a community that takes pride in safety, respect, responsibility, and maintaining the incomparable 6-Star environment our Members have come to expect.
Range Etiquette
Safe. Respectful. 6-Star.
We have an amazing environment both inside and outside the range. Here's how we keep it that way.
Keep It Cased
When entering the facility, firearms must remain cased. Only uncase your firearm once you are inside your assigned port, with the firearm pointing safely downrange.
Targets
Please do not use paper targets featuring photographs of people. Traditional approved threat or “robber” style targets are permitted.
Bring Your Collection
You're welcome to bring as many firearms as you'd like to the facility. While inside your port, please limit yourself to three uncased firearms at a time.
Range 4
Your Members-Only Range.
Range 4 is exclusively for Gun For Hire Members every day, during all operating hours.
This range is designed for Members shooting their own firearms. Gun For Hire instructors and Gun For Hire firearm rentals are not available inside the Members-Only Range.
You're welcome to bring up to three guests into your port with you. Every occupied port in Range 4 must have at least one Gun For Hire Member present.
Have additional guests? No problem. Our team can accommodate them in Range 2.
Member Guests
Your guests. Your responsibility.
Our mission is to provide a safe, friendly, and welcoming shooting environment.
If your guests are familiar with firearms and are joining you in the Members-Only Range, please make sure they understand our range etiquette and safety expectations. These guidelines are also displayed on the port decks.
If a guest needs instruction beyond what you're comfortable providing, we've got you covered.
Two or More Guests Need Instruction
Your guests can shoot in Range 2, where our team can provide the appropriate range experience, rentals, safety equipment, and instruction.
Meanwhile, you can continue enjoying the Members-Only Range with your firearm.
One Guest Needs Instruction
If you have one guest without their own firearm who requires instruction, you must accompany them into Range 2.
This is required because of our No Solo Shooter policy.
Since you'll be shooting with them, you may take advantage of your applicable Member discounts and rental benefits.
Port Time & Queue
Great range time. Fair range time.
When your scheduled hour of port time ends and you'd like to continue shooting, please check with an RSO before extending your session.
If There Is No Wait
You may leave your gear safely in your port and visit the registers to re-up your range time.
If There Is A Wait
Please pack up your gear, exit the range, and our team will place you back into the queue.
Gold, Titanium, and Platinum Members may receive priority queuing benefits, and Titanium and Platinum Members may receive free port time based on their membership benefits. However, all Members must exit the range at the end of their allotted time before adding additional range time.
Port Time Means Range Time.
If you choose to enjoy additional hours, please remember that port time is for active shooting. A port should not remain occupied while you are spending extended time outside the range socializing, relaxing, or having lunch while your firearms and gear remain inside.
We love having our Members here, and we absolutely encourage you to stay, catch up with friends, grab a bite, and enjoy the Gun For Hire community. We simply ask that those activities take place in our seating and common areas so the range ports remain available for Members who are actively shooting.
Enjoy the range as long as you'd like — just be actively using your port while you have it.
This keeps ports moving and ensures every Member gets to enjoy the 6-Star experience.
Solo Shooters
Shooting alone? Bring your own firearm.
If you're visiting by yourself without your own firearm, you cannot enter the range or rent a Gun For Hire firearm — even as a Member.
