After careful research, we decided to try Gun For Hire. They’re located in a detached building with ample front and rear parking in a neighborhood that looks clean and safe. The welcoming entrance has fliers, news paper articles about their podcast, some souvenirs (such as door hangers and stickers) and a fun photo prop Vespa equipped with a machine gun. Upon entering, the staff welcomes you and gets you started on the waiver forms, which basically cover everything, they’re very focused on safety. The RSO’s here are very friendly and not overbearing at all, as long as you follow the rules, they will not hound you 🙂 We had the pleasure to personally meet: Phil, Sandra, Steve, Marius, Martine, Gabe, Derek, Matt, and many more. I decided to become a member because of the passion everyone resonates here. We got a tour of the place, It’s a growing establishment, and soon they will have a gun store! This is our second time here, and the treatment is consistently superb. They cater to all skill levels, and give you the option to rent the equipment, or bring your own. If you rent a gun, they will give you some background information on it, which is especially nice if you’re considering a purchase, it’s the “try before you buy” concept. Each port has a digital yard counter, which makes it very easy to keep track of your progress. This is a state of the art facility, and potentially a one stop shop once the store opens. If you truly want a personal experience, either as a novice or pro… I highly recommend choosing Gun For Hire, they made both, my initial, and subsequent visits, memorable 🙂
