Last minute needed a red dot mounted The guys at the gunsmith were awesome mounted the site made sure everything worked gave me a detailed explanation and coordinated with the gunshot to make sure they had the parts I needed. You can’t ask for a better bunch of guys love this place.

I'm someone who has never been to a firing range before. I have to tell you I was impressed. Not only is this a state of the art firing range, it is a place for rentals and purchases of all sorts of guns from 22's to very heavy duty arms. It is also a place to get training for your own needs and to pass any tests. Finally, you can sit there and speak with the friendly staff or others who are there to shoot.

We want to thank everyone at Gun for Hire! What an efficiently run company. From the first greeting through the door, the paper work process was smooth. The gun store reps educated us on the different guns, prices of the ammos. The instructors were great, they explained the steps clearly and made us feel comfortable. Both the gun store reps and the instructors were very patient. The overall experience as beginners was wonderful. We all left less stressed and happy lol😄 I want to especially thank Kuma, Ben, Dan, Matt, Bob and the rest of the friendly staff! You all rock!! I felt comfortable at GFH from the first time I went, and so have been a member for years. Membership prices are reasonable, so is port time. Store has a nice selection. Everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have a good and safe time. (Special thanks to Carl the gunsmith, who managed to replace some parts on one of my handguns when I was ready to throw it in the river!)

Instructor Paul is the best !!!!he is very patient, made my experience so much fun!! High recommended!!!

The guys at the gun shop and the gun smiths are great went in last min asked them to mount a site and a riser they all helped out to make it right you can't find a better place to shoot

I had a date here last weekend. Now, I haven't shot a firearm in 10 years. My date had frequented the range a few times recently. So, I was a little nervous. Then we had Valentina as our instructor. She had a presence about her that made me feel calm and relaxed from the second we met. She was knowledgable and corrected my stance/hand placement with grace. As our session went on, I became comfortable with the firearm. If all of the staff are like her, I will definitely be returning here. If you decide to visit, please ask for Valentina.

We had eight folks in our group. The service in this place was excellent from the moment we walked in to their reception area, to the rental section, and to the gun range. They got our rentals very fast and the folks were friendly. Our safety officers were patient and great instructors (Anthony and I forgot the other name, sorry). They made our first time experience unforgettable.

Juan and the team were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. They are simply the best in the business!

Just wanted to send you a big shout out for the info for concealed carry in Pennsylvania. I saw the post on instagram to apply at the Pikes County Sheriff’s Office. On April 18th I applied online by uploading my documents, paid the fee, and submitted it at 9:30 AM. I received a reply stating that my application was being reviewed at 10am. By noon the Same Day I received an email stating I was approved and to schedule an appointment within 30 days to come pick up my permit. I drove 90 minutes to Pennsylvania from Newark NJ for my 12:30 appointment and walked out by 12:52pm permit in hand. ( I had to wait 9 1/2 months for my NJ CCW, I live in Newark) Thank you again for all you and the staff at GFH do. You are true social & 2A advocates.

Amazing facility and staff! Environment was extremely safe and staff was exceptionally knowledgeable. Raf was my groups instructor and it could have not gone any better. He made us feel comfortable and imparted a lot of great tips on gun safety and technique for better marksmanship. 10/10 highly recommend this place and Raf.

Didn't know what to expect going to a shooting range for the first time but Jeremy made it a good experience. He was so informative, knowledgeable and professional. Will return for sure.

Worth crossing the Atlantic for!! My 15 yr old son and I were on a short break to New York and looking a bit of wholesome excitement. New Jersey was the place to go, Gun For Hire were the people to see. A short bus journey and an even shorter taxi ride took us there. From start to finish we were looked after with patience and professionalism. We had a Blast !! Could have spent the whole day here trying out all the weapons available for rental. An experience that we both will never forget..... You have to finish your day firing a few rounds from the Barrett .50 cal, I'm still chuckling. 10/10 from us

Took my fiancé to the range for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting their instructor, Marc B. He was professional, thorough, and was able to alleviate a lot of the anxiety that comes with being a first time shooter. Highly recommend asking for him if it’s your first time, you won’t be disappointed!

So first off I loved this experience especially as an ARMY BRATT! Though we didn’t pay for instruction the gentlemen were still very attentive to each shooter. I would say bring your own ear and eye protection because as a glasses wearer there’s wasn’t enough & my moms ears broke out after using their ear protection so at a minimum sanitize it. We came on girls night and there was Peruvian food that was catered and delicious!! I’d love to and was encouraged to return at a time that wasn’t peak hours cause there was definitely moments that I was overwhelmed. Can’t wait to come back soon overall!!

We went their as part of our New York trip. As fellow Canadians who have barely touched a weapon except for hunting classes, this was an absolute great experience. Everyone was happy to have us around, recommend us and show us how to use the weapons. We finished off by the .50 BMG and could not regret less! We will have to stop by whenever we come back in the area again! Huge props to this place and the people who served us! If your a tourist and looking to experience shooting a few rounds, this is THE place to do so!

Great place to practice shooting a gun safely, of course. The staff is very friendly and well informed and they explain many aspects wonderfully and respectfully that is needed to be safe for everyone near and still have a fun time with Friends or Family.

Took my wife and son here for their first shooting experience and they absolutely loved it. Special thanks to Anthony M. My first visit - extremely impressed with the range facility, the friendliness of the staff, their deep subject expertise and the overall experience offered. From when you walk in, through the sign in process, the staff that helps select the firearm rentals & membership (thank you David Hollenbeck), and the range instructors - a platinum level experience in a safe environment. I plan to be a long term member.

Ask for gene in the gun store. He took the time to first start with gun safety and handling, showed us a bunch of different guns and explained them all thoroughly…Very knowledgeable all round, would definitely come back to purchase again and take some training classes with him
