I felt comfortable at GFH from the first time I went, and so have been a member for years. Membership prices are reasonable, so is port time. Store has a nice selection. Everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have a good and safe time. (Special thanks to Carl the gunsmith, who managed to replace some parts on one of my handguns when I was ready to throw it in the river!)

Haven't used the range YET, but the shop was great. Answered all my questions and steered me in the right direction. Will be returning asap

Ask for gene in the gun store. He took the time to first start with gun safety and handling, showed us a bunch of different guns and explained them all thoroughly…Very knowledgeable all round, would definitely come back to purchase again and take some training classes with him

Came in with my boyfriend to purchase a gun after being recommended to come here. It was busy but the service was surprisingly fast. Gene gave us great service by providing us with information we didn’t know we needed. Overall staff is very friendly and they welcome you like family. At the end of the day we become members and were highly satisfied with our purchase.

I’ve never been to a shooting range before and when I entered, I was kind of nervous. When I entered we met with Gene, and as he spoke to us and taught me and my dad more about guns, he got me hyped and so curious about a few guns there. i have been to a few gun ranges in NJ as well as other states, this one has the friendliest staff who are helpful and knowledgable selection in the gun shop is excellent, prices are fair and staff know their stuff. They are all shooters ad dcan help a newbie such as myself and i saw them helping people with prior expertise In specific though everyone was nice Phil guided me as to what was available, different options with the benefits of each Bob helped me choose which pistol was to be my first (you always remember your first one) and then David was really patient when i picked up the firearm. The guys at the rental counter were really helpful when i was trying the various firearms with great suggestions. The only problem, they are SOO ncie to deal with the parking lot fills up so get there early. Lots of lanes so the wait was not long at all. All told, great place, good price, clean facility and wonderful staff

Juan at the gun shop is fantastic. I had purchased magazines that did not fit, Juan took care of me and replaced them with the appropriate magazines. Everyone there is always helpful and very professional

Solid shop solid range! Gene at the shop was super helpful and very knowledgeable and helped us make an informed purchase decision that took into account our needs very well. The range staff have been very helpful (Mark or Marius, sorry bad with names - but the guy who speaks Romanian 👌👌👌 - gave us great tips and basic instructions). Def will be our home range! Looking forward to our next visits.

Amazing experience at Gun for Hire today!!! I first too a class with Gun for Hire around 10 years ago and am glad to say that I came back now. Gene helped in the Gun Store. It was all focused on what I wanted with some very insightful input. there was no pressure for a sale. He even took me on a walk through of the facility. I’m glad to say that I am now a member. Addison helped me complete my membership. They were both incredibly helpful. Anthony also stopped by to welcome me and sign a copy of my book. I was able to say hi to Matt too. I must also say that I had emailed a few times recently and it was quite a pleasant surprise how quickly I received responses from Tony and from Phoebe. They weren’t just quick response - they were detailed enough to answer my questions too. Overall it was just a great experience. Thank you and I can’t wait to be back!

I have been a member here for 2 years and every time I come in it never ceases to amaze me how great this range is. From the Facility to the Staff 6 Stars! On top of that my wife brought her first firearm last week and Gene took care of her. Walked her through the whole process and made it as seamless as possible. Gene took the time to explain the differences between each firearm we looked at until she chose what best fit her. Amazing, Amazing experience!
