Wilderness First Aid 2 Day Course
The 16-hour (2 Days course) Wilderness First Aid course is an introductory-level course for anyone who would like to increase their ability to respond to emergencies when help is more than an hour away. This course is approved by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for all Northern Tier Expeditions, Philmont treks and Seabase Adventures, as well as the American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines for first aid training.
Wilderness First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill person, usually in remote wilderness areas, when definitive care is not immediately available. Other areas where Wilderness First Aid has proven beneficial include remote communities, developing countries, and urban areas after a disaster.
This course is extremely popular with outdoor adventurers, hikers, campers, people who hunt and/or fish, and Scouts and their parents.
