Course Details

  • Prerequisite Course: Gun For Hire’s Urban Carbine 1 and Urban Pistol 1
  • Course duration: approximately 4 hours
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay for a new course.
  • This course is held at Gun For Hire, 1267 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

  • AR 15, M 16, M 4 series rifle/carbine
    Class is Based on the AR Platform. You’re more than welcome to bring any other Semi Auto Magazine Fed Rifle e.g.: AK47, Tavor, M1A etc.)
  • Estimated round count: 400 rounds rifle
  • Semi Auto Handgun
  • Estimated round count: 400 rounds handgun
  • Strong side hip holster; We recommend a Kydex style holster
  • Sturdy Gun Belt
  • 3 Magazines with Pouches
  • 5 Dummy rounds or Snap Caps
  • Sling (2 or 3 point required, Preferred sling from Magpul)
  • Ear Protection
  • Wrap-around eye protection. Side shields will be provided and are mandatory for those who do not bring wrap-around eye protection. Brimmed hats are strongly recommended.
  • Knee pads
  • We Recommend Jeans / BDU Style Pants
  • N0 shorts, no open toe shoes, no sweatpants allowed. Please bring only factory loaded ammo, excluding steel cased ammo.

100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.

Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.

No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.

Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
