Course Details
- Minimum age 21yo
- Class Time: 8am – 5pm
- The length of the course is approximately 9 hours
- You must have certification of completion for at least one of the following NRA courses:
- NRA Basics of Pistol
- NRA First Steps Rifle
- NRA First Steps Shotgun
- Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay for a new course.
- This qualification is held at Gun For Hire, 1267 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

If you have taken this course previously at Gun For Hire, you can repeat the course for half the price. NRA Basic Instructor Training is only valid for 2-years. If you took this course at Gun For Hire longer than 2 years ago, and are looking to advance to additional Instructor Certifications, you will need to repeat the course.

100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.
Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.
No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.
Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
