The Terrorism Awareness class provides an in-depth discussion on all aspects of Terrorism and Active Shooter events. The class is meant to provide information to best prepare yourself for a range of scenarios.

Course Details

  • There are no prerequisites to take this course. The material is suitable for all, including appropriately supervised, mature children.
  • Minimum age is 18 years old.
  • The length of the course is approximately 4 hours
  • This course is held at Gun For Hire 1267 McBride Ave. Woodland Park, NJ 07424

What To Bring:

  • Pad and Pencil
  • NO live firearms or ammunition allowed in the classroom, ie: concealed carry.

What We Will Cover

  • Terrorism – definition, methods of radicalization, methods of attack, attack indicators
  • Bombings – pre-indicators, device recognition, suicide bombers, truck/vehicle bombings, what to do in case of a building collapse
  • Active Shooter – Preparation, What to do during the event, What to do following the event
  • Chemical, Nuclear, Biological events – How to recognize the event, Ways of protection, What to expect during the event
  • Cyber Terrorism – ways to protect yourself, the effects of an attack on our systems (electric grid, water supply, banking)
  • Drones and Future Threats – and what to expect in the future

Please arrive 15 minutes early. If you are late, you must sign up for another available course date and will be charged for a new course.

100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.

Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.

No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.

Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
