Course Details

  • Prerequisite Course: Gun For Hire Urban Pistol 2 and Draw From Concealment
  • Course duration: approximately 4 hours
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay for a new course.
  • This course is held at Gun For Hire, 1267 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

  • Pistol with Red Dot (must be registered to you): Recommended in one of the following calibers: .380, 9MM, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45ACP (no other calibers allowed). Highly recommend compact or full-size handgun (semi-auto center fire pistols only – revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed).
  • Concealment Holster
Must be strong side holster [IWB/AIWB/OWB] – no tactical rigs, drop leg holsters, cross-draw, shoulder holsters, pocket holsters, ankle holsters , or belly-band style holsters. You must draw from concealment, if carrying OWB, your shirt must cover the firearm.
  • Three magazines minimum
  • Mag pouches, IWB side car, Neo Mag, etc – Worn the way you intend to conceal carry
  • Cover Garment
You MUST wear a loose cover garment since this does require drawing from concealment
IE: A loose fitting overshirt concealing an OWB holster is acceptable.
  • 500 rounds of factory ammunition
  • Sturdy Belt
  • Ear Protection
  • Wrap-around eye protection. Side shields will be provided and are mandatory for those who do not bring wrap-around eye protection. Brimmed hats are strongly recommended.
  • Jeans or BDU style pants. No Sweatpants, No shorts, No open-toed shoes.
  • All CTC task standards and training will be done utilizing the Gun For Hire Urban Defense Paper Target.

Reschedule or Cancel 2 or More Days Before Your Course:
100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.

Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.

No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.

Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
