NRA Instructors; it’s finally here!! The NRA’s newest and most comprehensive instructor discipline course ever…NRA CCW Instructor. This course is a 16-hour (over 2 days) course with an extensive amount information covering everything from how to teach each lesson plan in Basic CCW to, teaching defensive pistol skills, drill preparation, running a line, etc. It will also include 5 live fire qualification drills an instructor candidate must pass in order to achieve this discipline.
You MUST be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor who has completed the NRA BIT within the last three years.
You will be an active participant student, learn how to properly run a live fire range, participate in mandatory live fire drills as you work towards NRA CCW Instructor Qualification.

Course Details
- Minimum Age: 21yo
- Class Time: 8am-6pm
- Course duration: approximately 20 hours split between two days
- You must have certification of completion of the following classes:
- NRA Basics of Pistol
- NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) – Must be completed within 2 years
- All Students must activate the NRA credentials on the NRA website (Fee-based on NRA Member or Non-Member)
- Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay for a new course.
- This course is held at Gun For Hire, 1267 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

Reschedule or Cancel 2 or More Days Before Your Course:
100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.
Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.
No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.
Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
