The Low Light No Light course will teach students the importance of not only operating in a low-light situation but also how to dominate a situation with light. The course will instruct students in different shooting techniques and how to survive a threat. After taking this course, you will see that you should NEVER be without a flashlight.

Course Details

  • Prerequisite Course: Gun For Hire Urban Pistol 1
  • Course duration: approximately 4 hours
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay for a new course.
  • This course is held at Gun For Hire, 1267 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

  • Pistol (You must bring a pistol registered to you to take this class!)
  • Three magazines With a Mag Pouch
  • Holster
  • 200 rounds of ammunition (night sights recommended but not mandatory)
  • Two fully charged or battery-powered handheld flashlights
  • Please do not bring a flashlight that’s activated by turning the bezel
  • Weapon-mounted flashlight (optional) *Holster Required that works with your weapon mounted light.
  • Extra batteries
  • If using a weapon-mounted light, you must also bring a handheld flashlight
  • Flashlight holder (belt-style preferred)
  • Ear Protection
  • Wrap-around eye protection. Side shields will be provided and are mandatory for those who do not bring wrap-around eye protection. Brimmed hats are strongly recommended.

  • Proper selection of handheld and weapon-mounted light systems
  • Use of night sights
  • Proper grip and stance
  • Operating in low-light vision conditions
  • One-handed shooting techniques
  • Multiple shooting positions using the flashlight
  • Weapon manipulation in low-light conditions (reloads, malfunctions)
  • Proper techniques of building search while using the flashlight

Please arrive 15 minutes early. If you are late, you must sign up for another available course date and will be charged for a new qualification.

100% refund to the original payment method, or you may transfer into the next available date.

Reschedule or Cancel Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
Receive a 50% credit of your purchase price in your Gun For Hire account, which may be applied toward a future date.
This reduction is due to staffing, scheduling, and course preparation already completed.

No-Show Policy:
If no cancellation is provided, no credit or refund is available.

Rescheduling Policy More Than 24 Hours Before Your Course:
A $25 fee will apply if you need to change your date.
