Yes! Gun For Hire is a true destination experience. With over 5,000 five-star reviews, we’ve earned our reputation as the East Coast’s premier shooting range thanks to our incredible staff, welcoming environment, and world-class facility.

We’re open to the public, and visitors from any state or country are welcome to shoot here. You do not need a New Jersey FID card or permit to enjoy the range.

We provide everything you need to have a blast—firearms, ammunition, eye/ear protection, and targets. All you need is a valid government-issued photo ID and a friend. Please note: there are no solo shooters unless you are bringing your own firearm.

  • U.S. Visitors: You may rent and shoot firearms as long as you are not prohibited by law from handling a firearm.

  • International Visitors: We regularly host guests from around the world who want to experience the American tradition of shooting. Simply bring your passport, and our team will guide you through the process.

If you are traveling with your own firearm, please follow all federal and state transportation laws. Firearms must be unloaded and locked in a case, with ammunition stored separately, and secured in the trunk or as far from the driver as possible.
