This is Gun For Hire’s exclusive course which is only available at Gun For Hire. This class teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a rifle safely. This course is about 4 hours long and includes classroom and range time. You can use your rifle or one that will supplied by us. Normally, we use an AR 15 platform. At the conclusion of the class you will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Rifle Shooting Handbook, the NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and a course completion certificate.

If you qualify, you have the option at the end of the course to register for our Urban carbine 1.
