Gun For Hire Weekly Pistol Shootout – Subcompact & Microcompact Firearms

Never tried a shooting match? We will make sure you feel welcome and have a blast! The Gun For Hire Pistol Shootout is designed where beginners will have a great time, advanced will be rewarded for their best shots, and at the end of the competition all shooters are entered in a raffle to win a brand new gun! Each firearm entry is entered into the raffle for the free firearm.

A “short description” of how the event works: Each week is its own event. The course of fire is randomized each week, and the course of fire will not be posted.
– It is a timed shoot, each shooting portion you will have 10 seconds to shoot.
– You will shoot 30 rounds of ammo per firearm based on the competition.
– For Sub-Compact/Micro-Compact competitions you will shoot 30 rounds total, 6rds at 5 unknown distances.
– You must bring your own firearm, rentals will not be available for the shootout.

Your target is brought in and scored! That’s it! Raffle drawing and scores will be posted within 48 hours via a video to Youtube and the website.

Course Details:

• You must own your own firearm, rentals will NOT be available.
• You must select 1 ticket for each firearm entered ie: Shooting in both Iron Sights and Optic Divisions.
• Event will be run from 6pm-8:30pm. Shooting is done in waves, each wave is approximately 30 minutes. You will be grouped in waves based on the order in which you arrive.
• You do not need to stay for the entire event.
• Scores and winners will be announced within 48 hours.
• This event is held at Gun For Hire 1267 McBride Ave. Woodland Park, NJ 07424

Required Gear 

• A Firearm (Must be registered to you. Rentals will not be available. You must have your own firearm.)
• Eye and ear protection (available for rent if necessary)
• 30 rounds of ammo for each firearm
• 3 (6 round minimum) magazines required
     • Many popular magazines available in our gun store, subject to availability

No Revolvers. Must Be Semi-Auto Pistols Only.

*If you do not have the required gear, you will not be able to participate. The course of fire requires all of the above.*

*For clarification, for the Subcompact & Microcompact League, all firearms must have a barrel length less an 3.7 inches.
