Why Choose Our Actions, Receivers and Incomplete Firearms
Looking for full details on our Cerakote process, color options, and available finishes? Visit our complete Cerakote Services page for everything you need to know about professional firearm Cerakoting in New Jersey.
Gun For Hire is the only 6-Star range and firearms facility offering a true all-in-one environment. Your components are not being shipped out — our Cerakote work is performed in-house within the same professional facility that includes our retail store, training academy, indoor range, and gunsmithing services.
That means experienced firearm professionals, proper handling from intake to pickup, and a process built around firearm safety, consistency, and performance — not just a coating shop. Your action or receiver stays in a controlled firearms environment the entire time.
Small Parts Coating:
Small parts such as controls, pins and other detailed components require additional preparation and precision handling. An additional $30 applies to cover the extra labor involved in coating small, detailed components.
First Color Is Included:
Your first color is included in the base service price of $250. You may select any color from our in-stock Cerakote library at no additional charge. If you choose a custom-ordered color as your primary color, a $30 custom color fee will apply.
Second / Additional Colors:
Additional colors can be added to your project:
• Additional Stock Color – $45 per color
• Additional Custom Color – $75 per color
All final color selections are confirmed during your in-person consultation at drop-off.
